Aecor Training Camp hosts an Olympic Discipline: “ WEIGHTLIFTING

Practice this booming discipline within quality infrastructure. Find all the equipment you need to push your limits with each session in our premises. Weightlifting. is a multidisciplinary and complete sport requiring strength, flexibility and dynamism. This sport is broken down into two movements which are respectively:

THE PULLER:

The bar is placed horizontally in front of the athlete's legs. The person must grab it, hands pronated and pull it in a single movement, from the board to the ends of the arms stretched above the head. The movement is carried out either by bending or splitting the legs. The bar must follow the body in an uninterrupted movement, without any part other than the feet touching the platform. The weight lifted must be held still, arms and legs straight, feet aligned, until the signal to place the bar back on the platform. The wrist twist should only be done when the bar has passed the athlete's head. The athlete stands up as soon as he can, placing his feet perpendicular to the trunk and the dumbbell. The signal must be given as soon as the athlete is still in all parts of his body.

THE SHOULDER - THROWN

The bar is placed horizontally in front of the athlete's legs. The person must grab it with their hands pronated and pull it in a single movement from the board to the shoulders. This movement is performed either by bending or splitting the legs. During this uninterrupted movement, it is allowed for the bar to slide along the thighs, however it must not touch the chest before the final position, while it rests on the clavicles or on the chest above the nipples or on the arms completely folded. The athlete stands up as soon as he can, placing his feet aligned and perpendicular to the trunk and the dumbbell.
